Meeting with the Chief of Police Force

Strengthening of a long-standing partnership between Tanzania Police Force (TPF) and Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) since 2007.

Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Resident Representative for Tanzania and Uganda Mr. Karl-Peter Schönfisch met with the Chief of Police Force in Tanzania Mr. Camillus Mongoso Wambura who was accompanied by Mr. Faustine Constantine Shilogile, Commissioner of Community Policing Commission and Mr. Engelbert Kiondo, the Chief of Community Engagement. The partnership strengthening meeting took place on the 10th of September, 2022 at the Police Headquarters-Suboffice in Dar es Salaam. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Ombeni Mhina, HSF-Senior Project Officer and Police Project focal person.  

The objective of the meeting was to strengthen the long-standing partnership   between the Tanzania Police Force (TPF) and Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) since 2007.  HSF and TPF have collectively implemented number of projects including the police reforms as well as the citizen friendly policing (CFP). The citizen friendly policing project is so far implemented in 18 regions of Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar.
