Governance Training to councilors
Councilors Training in Hanang-District
On the 11th to 13th of August 2022, Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) in Collaboration with Integrity Watch (IW) conducted a councilors training to 43 councilors, (13 ) women councilors and (30) male councilors in Hanang District of Manyara Region.
Hon. Frederick Tluway Sumaye, the Former Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania graced the councilors training in cooperation with Mr. Karl-Peter Schönfisch, Hanns Seidel Foundation Resident Representative for Tanzania and Uganda who was accompanied by Mrs. Jeanette Huber-Hanns Seidel Foundation Coordinator of Africa Division from the Headquarters in Munich-Germany.
The training was hosted by Hon. Janeth Mayanja, the District Commissioner (DC) for Hanang District. In attendance of the training were Hon. Samweli Xaday Hhayuma the member of parliament (MP) for Hanang Constituency, Hon. Rose Kamili the District Council Chairperson, and all members of the District Security Committee of Hanang.
