Farewell & Welcome
On the momentous date of January 17, 2024, a significant phase in the Tanzanian Police Force's relationship with the Hanns Seidel Foundation began. IGP Camillus Wambura, presided over a historic event in which he bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing Resident Representative, Mr. KarlPeter Schoenfisch, while also welcoming the incoming Resident Representative, Mr. Frank Gollwitzer. Mr. Klaus Liepert, Head of Africa Department at the Hanns Seidel Foundation, witnessed the transition of leadership and added gravitas to the proceedings. On this occasion, 735 training handbooks were handed over to the Chief of the Police Force in preparation of the Ward Police Officers training in 2024.
